Our Love Story
We started our relationship in 2013 when we were both in high school. Fast forward a few years and Katie was enjoying sorority life and studying Nursing at Villanova, while Connor was playing football and studying Business at Bentley, a mere 320 miles apart. Our relationship stayed strong throughout college and we both landed jobs in the Boston-area. We haven't looked back since! Connor proposed to Katie on Christmas Day after Katie had worked a 12-hour shift at Boston Medical Center. She thought we were spending Christmas Night with Connor's parents, but Connor had other plans. Our next milestone for our relationship is in Boca Grande, FL on our favorite island - Gasparilla. We can't wait to share it with you!

The Innlet is the waterfront sister property to the Gasparilla Inn & Cottages. It is about a 10 minute golf cart ride from town. It also offers waterfront casual dining at its restaurant, The Outlet.
30 minute drive to the island. Newly renovated full-service hotel with complimentary breakfast buffet, outdoor patio, and heated saline pool. If you are choosing this option we recommend getting a rental car. There is free parking on the island.
Located in Downtown Boca Grande. Apartment-style efficiencies. Very convenient to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Limited availability.

This is a great on-island option for guests who want to be closer to town and all the weekend events. Approximately a 20-min bike ride and 10-min golf cart ride into downtown.

Of note, transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony and reception. There is very limited parking at the Boca Bay Pass Club, so the provided transportation is strongly encouraged. Specifics on pick up/drop off locations and schedule will be provided upon arrival.
A bit about Boca
The wedding will be held on Gasparilla - a 7-mile long, quaint, and intimate island that is along the northwest edge of Charlotte Harbor, between Fort Myers and Sarasota. Boca is known for its "Old -Florida" feel and is home to some of the best tarpon and flats fishing in all of the world, as well as numerous shopping boutiques, and pristine beaches. Katie's family has been coming down to the island for many years, and has a place on the southwestern part of the island.

FAQ's
Can we UBer to The island and around the island?
Ubers have limited coverage for the area. While Uber might be an option to get to Boca Grande from the airport, they are hard to find in Boca Grande once it's time to leave! Once you are on the island the best way to get around is by golf cart. We recommend booking your golf cart in advance of your trip to ensure availability, or coordinating with friends to share a cart for the weekend. Also, it is worth noting there is a $6 fee for crossing the bridge onto the island.
Can I Use The Inn's Amenities If I Don't Stay At The Gasparilla Inn & Club?
Unfortunately, no. You must be a guest of the Inn to use the Beach Club, golf course, tennis courts, spa, etc. however, there are plenty of golf options just off of the island, Lemon Bay and Cape Haze. Additionally, there are public tennis courts by the Mohr's house located on Wheeler St.
Where can i go to the beach?
There are several beach access points with parking on Gulf Boulevard, Gasparilla Island Lighthouse beach and the Gasparilla Island State Park.
can i get groceries on the island?
Yes, Hudson's Grocery is a small market located downtown with all the essentials plus wine and beer, they are open Monday-Saturday 9am-4pm. Kappy's is a convenience store on the north end of the island, selling wine and beer. They are open Monday-Saturday 7am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Publix is located in Placida, about ten minutes off island, with a liquor store directly next door.
